Mallorca has ideal conditions for a flotilla holiday with steady afternoon breezes from the north Force 3-5. Stronger mistral winds can blow from the north-west for a few days. Summer temperatures average 26-30ºC.

If you are thinking of sailing in Mallorca for the first time, this flotilla is ideal to show you all the best places. The lead yacht accompanies the flotilla and is on hand to give advice on the cruising area. Reliable winds make this flotilla sailing holiday a great choice for more experienced skippers. For yacht charter or flotilla in Mallorca the skipper must have RYA Day Skipper Practical certificate or RYA ICC qualification.

The 1-week itinerary explores the stunning south eastern coast of Mallorca, heading east to Sa Rapita, Cala d'Or and Porto Cristo before heading back via Cala Mondrago.

For those staying for two weeks, our flotilla crew will be happy to discuss a bareboat itinerary for you, suggesting some great stops, tailor made to your requirements. Our crew will also keep you up to date with weather forecasts and be happy to help you during your bareboat holiday.

In Mallorca some nights will be in marinas where there is a charge payable locally. The marinas in Mallorca offer some of the best facilities in the Mediterranean but there are mooring charges - budget for an average £2/foot/night.

SAT : Embark at Calanova Marina near Palma. The marina has a restaurant/bar and showers/WC and is just 5 minutes walk from shops, restaurants and bars.

Cala d'Or MallorcaSUN : Sa Rapita (22nm). The marina is adjacent to the pretty, unspoilt beach which is the perfect location for the welcome punch party.

MON : Cala D'Or (19nm) This pretty stretch of coves includes Cala Llonga which is where we will be stopping tonight. For dinner you will be spoilt for choice with the numerous excellent restaurants around the waters edge.

TUE : Porto Cristo (12nm). A friendly town in a fabulous position. Explore the remains of the original roman harbour or the nearby roman basilica. Take advantage of the daily market and stock up on local fruit and vegetables before setting sail in the morning.

WED : Cala Mondrago (14nm). Weather permitting, this stunning anchorage in the heart of the Mondrago national park gives us a fantastic opportunity to spend a night under the stars in what is considered to be one of Mallorca's most beautiful areas.

THU :Free Sailing. Your crew will be more than happy to suggest some alternatives for you, depending upon your preferences.

FRI : The flotilla returns to Calanova Marina for a farewell dinner.

SAT : Disembark at Calanova Marina.

The yachts on the Mallorca flotilla are based at Calanova marina, between the beaches of Cala Mayor and Illetas and just outside the busy city centre of Palma de Mallorca. The marina has a restaurant/bar and showers/WC and is just 5 minutes walk from shops, restaurants and bars.

The Mallorca flotilla offers yachts from 32'-42' giving you a choice of 2, 3 or 4 cabin layouts. All flotilla yachts are well-specified with CD player, hot water, deck showers, cockpit cushions and bimini suntops - thoughtful extras for your cruising comfort.

Flotilla prices are shown PER YACHT. Just divide by the number of people onboard for a per person price.

This flotilla has been priced WITHOUT flights or transfers. Ask us for a quote for an ATOL-bonded flight-inclusive holiday from a choice of UK airports or arrange your own flights. Transfers take about 20 minutes by taxi from Palma airport but canot be re-arranged.
