From Dubrovnik’s picturesque harbour, the flotilla sets off for the 10nm sail up the coast to explore some of the best crystal clear waters the Adriatic has to offer. Explore the white sand beaches and citrus groves on Lopud Island before cruising further north to the lush island of Šipan, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands. After a great day's sail, discover the storied past of the island’s 16th century watchtower built to protect the town from marauding pirates. Nestled in a small natural inlet, Suđurađ’s well protected harbor is the perfect sheltered mooring for an overnight stop.
Today's scenic route takes you past the beautiful islets of Otok Oilpa and Otok Jakljan before arriving in the serene bay of Polače on Mljet Island. Mljet is an island of raw and natural beauty and the calm, sheltered waters of Polače make for an idyllic stop - the perfect place for a refreshing swim and snorkel. End your day by enjoying a leisurely meal at a local konoba, relishing the tranquil atmosphere and the camaraderie of fellow sailors.
Today's destination is the medieval town of Korcula, nicknamed 'Little Dubrovnik' for the striking similarities between the two Croatian hotspots. Explore the walled town's narrow, winding streets and historic architecture before taking a walk along the scenic waterfront and soaking up the town's vibrant atmosphere whilst enjoying a delicious meal.
Embrace a day of exploration at your own pace, whether it’s discovering hidden coves, relaxing on secluded beaches, or exploring charming coastal villages. The lead crew will be on hand to make suggestions and keep you updated with weather conditions so that you can make the most of your free-sailing day.
Back to the beautiful island of Mljet and the sheltered bay of Okuklje. Enjoy a walk to the top of the hill for fantastic views over the channel and cool off with a swim and snokel afterwards. A relaxing evening is sure to follow and the freshly caught seafood served in the restaurants here is not to be missed!
The journey back to the base will begin with a flotilla regatta, a bit of friendly competition to test your racing skills! After arriving back into Dubrovnik you will have time to freshen up before ending the week on a high note with the gin and tonic party and prize giving.
