Sailing Holidays

Suggested 1 week itinerary from Zadar

DAY 1 : Embark at Zadar. Modern marina in this ancient city dating from Roman times.
DAY 2 : The Kornati Islands are now designated as a National Park and there are over 100 islands and islets offering idyllic anchorage swith clear water for swimming. Ravni Zakan (13nm) is one of our favourites. Moor in the small harbour or anchor in the bay. Visit Restaurant Konoba Larus, recommended for delicious food and very warm welcome.
DAY 3 : Going north to Kornati Island, there are several overnight anchorages. At the small bay of Lopatica (18nm) there is a restaurant ashore.
DAY 4 : Sail along the west coast of Dugi Otok to the cliffs and then turn back to the good shelter on the eastern side. Anchor in the small village of Sali (Dugi Otok) (14nm) with a small shop for provisioning.
DAY 5 : Brbinj (Dugi Otok) . Anchor in the small harbour or in one of the near bays. Provisions and restaurant in the village.
DAY 6 : Zut (Liman Zut) 18nm. Nice bay with only one restaurant.
DAY 7 : Before returning to Zadar (18nm) make a swim stop in one of the nice bays nearby.

"I would like to report that we had an excellent holiday sailing the Aeolian Islands courtesy of SunSicily on 'Senza Dubbi'. Our travelling arrangements were complex but the necessary transfers were arranged extremely well. The "yacht handover" at Portorosa was quick, timely and efficient; and the free taxi service to and from the supermarket made provisioning of our vessel the easiest I can ever remember. All in all a first class experience with a special thanks to Francesco at the marina."
