Mallorca is an ideal destination for a family sailing holiday with secluded bays, white sandy beaches and azure seas.
Mallorca is everyone's favourite Spanish island and, with direct flights from most UK airports, it's a convenient destination for a family sailing holiday.
With over 200 miles of stunning coastline, Mallorca is a great choice for a yacht charter holiday. Charter from Palma, the capital city on the south coast with a 14th century cathedral. Visit the busy fishing harbours of Andratx, Soller and Pollensa or get away from it at the peaceful Cabrera Island Nature Reserve. The large bays of Alcudia and Pollensa on the north-east of the island provide safe anchorages and pretty harbours.
Families and less experienced crews can relax in the sheltered bays on the east coast with white sandy beaches, safe swimming areas and superb beach restaurants. More experienced skippers will want to plan an itinerary around the island.
