ASA sail training holidays in the British Virgin Islands

Gain your American Sailing Association qualification whilst visiting the number one sailing ground in the Caribbean - what could be more perfect? 

Individuals, couples, friends or families can learn to sail in the BVI at our partner sailing school based in Nanny Cay Marina on Tortola. The ASA courses are available onboard a private charter yacht or on one of the Learn to Sail weeks where you join the tuition yacht alongside other students. 

In just a few days you can learn the necessary practical and theoretical skills, as well as gain the necessary confidence, to charter sailboats anywhere in the world. ASA sail training courses in the BVI are practical and you will be learning your skills whilst out on the water, enabling you to experience the incredible beaches, restaurants and beach bars of the British Virgin Islands during your vacation. You will be learning a great deal but there will still be time for swimming, snorkelling and watersports!

By chartering your own yacht, you can add one of the ASA-certified sailing instructors to your vacation to have complete flexibility on your dates and pick the yacht of your choice including monohulls and catamarans (depending on the course being taken). Part of your course will be choosing a suitable itinerary with your instructor and finding the best spots to spend the night. You may bring friends and family on your BVI learn-to-sail sailing course even if they are not taking the courses so you can all enjoy your sailing vacation together. Alternatively, book a cabin on one of the Learn to Sail weeks - spaces are limited so enquire early to secure your spot.
