Embarkation is at Nanny Cay, a full-service marina on Tortola's south coast with on-site provisioning and waterfront restaurants.
Start the day by meeting Helen & Harley and the rest of the flotilla, and join the welcome briefing. Sailing south, stop for a snorkel at The Indians, four rock pinnacles rising from the seabed, or pull up at the floating Willy T for lunch. The Bight is a natural harbour in a well-sheltered bay full of history.
Sail east towards Virgin Gorda, stopping at The Baths for the famous granite boulders and tidal pools, or at the Dog Islands for some of the best snorkelling in the BVI. The Bitter End Yacht Club in the North Sound has a choice of restaurants, beach bars and various watersports activities.
Anegada is home to a colony of wild flamingos and a legendary beach-grilled lobster dinner, which is not to be missed. Moorings and anchorage are available at Setting Point.
A day at your own pace. Stay on Anegada to hire a jeep or scooter and explore Loblolly Bay and the salt ponds where the flamingos gather, or sail back towards Virgin Gorda for more time at the Bitter End Yacht Club or a Jungle Bird at Saba Rock as the sun goes down.
A relaxed marina and resort tucked into the western side of North Sound, and a good place to take on water and re-provision. There is a pool, spa and hillside restaurant with views across the sound.
A tiny eight-acre island, sheltered by a reef and best known as the setting for Robb White's Our Virgin Island. There is excellent swimming and snorkelling and another opportunity to visit The Baths or the Dog Islands on the way if you missed them.
Round the top of Tortola to one of the Caribbean's classic vistas, a palm-fringed bay backed by picturesque, green hills. There is the option of a tour of the Callwood Rum Distillery, one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in the Caribbean.
Jost Van Dyke is home to the most famous beach bars in the islands. Stop off at the Soggy Dollar for the famous painkiller, so named because there is no dock and you swim ashore!
Your second free day. Sail to Diamond Cay at the northeastern tip of Jost Van Dyke for Foxy's Taboo and the walk to the Bubbly Pool, a natural rock pool that froths as the Atlantic swell pushes through. Or head back to White Bay and the Soggy Dollar for one more afternoon of relaxation before heading back to Nanny Cay ready for disembarkation.
A final sail back across to Nanny Cay for disembarkation.
