Ideal for Winter and Spring sailing, Dubai offers exciting opportunities to learn how to sail in one of the most enchanting and captivating cosmopolitan cities the world has to offer. Sailing in Dubai affords you the unique experience of learning in the shadow of one of the worlds spectacular skyline including the iconic and magnificent Burj Khalifa.
The sailing in Dubai and around the Arabian coast offers constant, moderate winds and safe training conditions on flat water with temperatures of 25-30 degrees with time factored in for swim stops in the warm Persian Gulf. During the week you will be sailing on one of the training centre's 2024 Beneteau Oceanis 34 yachts. The courses are limited to 5 students.
All courses follow the RYA syllabus and are suitable from age 12 (Competent Crew). Certificates are awarded at the end of the week to those pupils who meet all the requirements of the courses.
RYA courses are offered through RYA Recognised Training centre Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, which offers a full range of RYA practical, live aboard courses close to the popular Jumeirah Beach and opposite The World Islands archipelago.
A 5-day course for the complete beginner. This is where you will find out what sailing and life aboard a sailing yacht is all about. No prior knowledge is required and the aim of the course is to turn you into a valuable and useful crew member.

A course for aspiring skippers with some yachting experience and basic navigation and sailing skills. The RYA Day Skipper Practical certificate is recognised around the world and is ideal for people looking to charter their own yacht in the future.
Basic navigation and helmsmanship with theory knowledge to Day Skipper Shorebased level. It is recommended that you attend the Day Skipper theory course online before taking this practical course.
